2012 EXHIBITION

20th - 23rd SEPTEMBER

We invite you to join us for the Exhibition of Art and Craft 2012.
It will be held at the Wongan Hills Civic Centre.
 
Over the 4 days we have guest artists and demonstrators as well as arts and crafts on display. There will be activities for children on the Saturday and Sunday as well as entertainment.
 
The theme for the exhibition is African
 this allows us to decorate the hall and produce the Exhibition on a more professional level as well as enabling us to present the art works at their best. Your art work does not have to be based on this theme.

INSPIRATIONAL CHALLENGE

This year we have given 8 members of the community a sack trolley to turn into a piece of artwork. Make sure to come along to see what they have done with their trolleys.

 

Last exhibition, A bucket was given for the Inspirational challenge.

COMMUNITY GROUP CHALLENGE

The invitation is sent out to thirty local community groups, to turn a coffee cup, tea bag and a small plastic animal into art works.

These community groups incorporate all the volunteer groups in our shire.
   
Exhibition Raffle
1st Prize is an African Quilt valued at $1000
2nd Prize is a 1 Hour flight for three people to a chosen destination, valued at $300 *
3rd Prize (Yet to be confirmed)
 
*2nd prize is a flight valued at $300 for three people. This Flight Departs from Wongan Hills only and will be for a duration of 1hour maximum.

Getting your art to us

Art work can be dropped off to the following depots. The art/craft works will be collected from the Depots on Monday 17th of September
